Chicago TV tackles SEIU intimidation of home health care workers
Monday night, Fox News Chicago's Larry Yellen featured Pam Harris and her son Josh who are one of over 3000 families in Illinois now forced into a power struggle between two of the biggest unions in Illinois -- SEIU and AFSCME. A recent Executive Order signed by Governor Pat Quinn authorized state-subsidized family members who care for the disabled in their homes to opt for collective bargaining.
The families, who've been brought together by Ms. Harris non-relenting determination, have until October 19th to decide whether they want to be represented by SEIU or AFSCME or not at all.
